Shipping and Packaging

Preparing Your Media for Shipping

To assure your media arrives at our facility in the same condition in which you sent it, it is of the utmost importance that you package your media so that no damage will occur during shipment. This means sending your media in a box and not in an envelope or soft sleeve and we also suggest packaging your media in zip lock bags or plastic wrap to protect against dust and moisture.

Shipping Your Order to Our Facility

By default, we request that all orders are paid for and shipped to us by the customer (please reference order number on shipping label so that we can quickly pair the shipment with your order).

  • We suggest you go to a UPS or FedEx location, give them your media and have then package it in such a way that it will not be damaged in transit. They will provide you shipment tracking information so that you will be able to follow the progress of your package to our facility.

  • We have this procedure in place due to past experience of customers putting everything in a box, throwing a label on it and sending it. If the package is not adequately packed, damage to your valuable/priceless media can occur. If you have UPS for FedEx package your order, they make sure your package(s) will get to where it's going in the same condition in which you gave it to them.

Shipping from our Facility to You

Once your order is complete, and you have requested we send back your media, or you have requested your scanned content be sent to you on a USB drive or other media, we will send the shipment to you by UPS ground with shipment tracking. If you have purchased our Express Service, your order will be shipped by UPS 2nd Day.

  • If you have requested your media to be disposed of at our facility, we keep your media for 60 days before disposal.

  • We can return your media to you at any time up to 60 days after your order is complete. We will contact you, advise of the return shipping costs for your approval, and ship your media to the ship-to address on your order.

Damage During Shipment or Lost Shipments

There is no way for us to guarantee your media during the shipping process. Although we have not experienced lost or damaged shipments from customers, it is a possibility. For this reason, we suggest you place insurance on your shipments so that you will at least be able to be financially compensated if either of these scenarios occur.
