We offer two different photo scanning services,
automatic scanning and manual scanning.
The easiest to scan and the
least expensive is the automatic scanning which takes grouped photos and scans them in to year, month, event, and any other parameters you define.
If you choose the automatic scanning option, you can prepare the photos prior to sending them to us by separating them in to groupings of how you want them scanned. You can also name the grouping so that we can use that when naming the files as they are being scanned.
By grouping them in to year, month and events, this makes it extremely easy to find the photos quickly by a simple search on your computer, tablet or phone.
The manual scanning process is a little more costly as they cannot be run through our automated scanning equipment and have to manually scanned.
Manually scanning involves photos that are odd sizes, have tape or sticky substances on the surface, are damaged, or are larger than 8x10.
If you have
questions about automatic or manual scanning, you can request a free consultation which might help you organize your photos prior to sending them to us; we are here to help and make the process as simple and stress free as possible.
